Presonus Firepod Click and pop issues

Hi All,
Newbie in setting up a com recording environment. Just got a used FP10 and have set it up. Everything seems fine and I am able to record while listening to it over the headphone. Problem is that I am getting this distorted sound when i tried to playback the recording. Could any bro over here please give me some advise? Thanks.

When you are recording, are you monitoring the pre or post?

thanks for replying. I am monitoring just by plugging the head phone in the phone plug and also from the monitor out to a speaker.

Having said that, when i adjust the knob of the mixer to the playback side, the distorted noise came up.

Could you advise how i could post the sound clip to the net?

I think you might have set your Input Gain too high or the signal going into the Input is too high.

What instrument are you recording? How high did you set the gain?

Hi, Found the solution at last. Just update the drivers and the problem is gone. Thanks a lot for your help mate.

PC.

it seems that it does not work too well with PC and there is a lot of setting to be configured to get it sound right(at least on my part...hahaha)
