Enhances the Upper Harmonics. Gives more clarity/bite. However, causes feedback when pushed too much.

Your interpretation of clarity is different from mine.. It's not mids..more highs
Mids=Chunky/full+tubes=warmth
Presence makes the finger noise more promenient. Slides..etc

i feel it makes you cut through more through the mix and gives you more bite
