preamps and stuff...

the 'wife' is heading down to US next month. offered to get me something back not too heavy...(that rules out the mesa...keke)

i got some things i want of course...so...thing is...could u guys advice/recommend on the following?

1) guitar Tube Preamp - pedal type preferably...kinda like VTwin type..
2) condenser vocal mic...am eyeing the CAD Equitek e100...yummy..but dunno good not...or AT 3035...?
3) Mic Preamp...using mixer's one now...but was hoping to get a tube mic preamp too...keke..eyeing erm...Studio Projects VTB-1...

anyways...just some things i've got on my want list for abit now...so wondering if anyone got any useful input...or recommendations...

haha...wah lau...death wish man...she did offer lah but after i told her how big its gonna be she a bit hesitant...plus the weight...

H&K Tubeman...sounds good. will check that out. haven't heard of the Lee and Jackson thinggie...will check that out too. any other recommendations?

Why not get an Engl preamp...but the operating voltage could be a problem..

U can still get the mesa...just ship it via Fed-ex...
