Practice Regime

coolz... that's some pretty interesting warmups.. i so agree bout the army shit.. but oh well.. i finally am stay out alr.. hahaha.. can't wait to ORD in NOVEMBER!!
So I guess hurray.. i can practise more and make use of what u all say.. esp since I don't need to search for Mr MSK anymore..

yay.......hurray for you...

i ORD in march next year

im stay out as well but liable for a callback anytime of the day

I play up to 4hours a day nowadays because it's holidays for me now. Got to juggle work and guitar. =( If not i'll just play till i sleep.

Basically i only play what i like to hear(eg; songs from favourite band) during practice and also to practice simple scales because i'm still rather slow. I prefer to move on after completing one song so i may just be playing the same thing for a week. hoho.:)

And regarding the army thing, i got to agree it ~~~~ big time. 2more years before i'm in =(

Haha.. well.. yea its cool.. enjoy ur 2 years first.. don't go n tink about it.. don't let the future rob u of the present.. :D

i practice 18 hours a day with only 6 hours of sleep, and no time for meals in between. i may be chronically malnourished but at least i dont suck at guitar !!

Funny these practice regimes. ~95% of the time spent practicing lead playing but when you are playing with a band it's maybe ~5% of the song.

Haha.. not true for me actually.. i spent most of my time working on the rhythm.. and finding as many ways as i can to play it.. because like u said.. a solo is onli 5 percent of a song.. so why not spend most of ur time working on what ur playing 95 percent of the time.. it makes playing rhythm fun.. and a simple song more challenging and unique too!
