Powerjam 2008

=BadgerS88

Thanks for checking us out and you enjoyed the performance.

It was really fun playing on the same day with all my friends. Didn't feel like a competition at all since i think almost everyone was playing in each other bands' at some point here, lol.

Congrats to King Kong Jane ( BlueArk and Ciel are the guitar players from this forum ) as well as all the other bands and winners of the Singapore Music awards.

Hey people!!
had one hell of a night!
thanks for the comments, i'll work on it. still have a long way to go as a singer. but prolly most of us who performed on stage, will agree we cant hear ourselves that much on the monitors. That would prolly help us much more on stage.haha. Glad ppl enjoy our original!
other than that, congrats to KKJ!

Damn, I missed King Kong Jane and Aurigami. But heres a note

Soul Excess - If there was a best singer competition award for that night she would have won it a million times over. Her voice had huge range and dynamic! Best vocal performance of the night! The band was really kickin out some tight tunes too! Great original you had there guys.

Thxz!.. how much do i haf to pay u? lol!
Had lots of fun yest. The make up was glam and thick :P Reyza was right .. i couldnt hear myself well from the monitors too...
Anyway congrats to KKJ!
Madhatter you guys gave a groovy set man.. ppl were like bouncing here and der, Page gave a wnderful siao entertaining performance cracked me up la, Aurigami's guitar solo was soo feelin~~:)

Was a good competition.

Feel that the judging is abit off. ppl who deserve to win based on the performance itself ytd didnt get the recognition. so sad for "singapore rock"

heres a poster for your viewing!

please give the deserving talents recognition!

Hmmm ... King Kong Jane ... . "Best left-legged singer in SG!"
Sorry ah, I couldn't resist. Of course, congrats on winning and bestest to the rest.

Errr ... will there be any videos of the night's performances?

Sometimes I really wonder what do judges in these band competitions really look for in a band at times.... and judging by what I've been seeing all the time.... only a gloomy future is looming ahead....

Thxz!.. how much do i haf to pay u? lol!

PM me for details! ;D

Ehhhh amaciaaammmmsss!!! Bani here, from Page. On behalf of the band, would like to say congratulations to KKJ!

The band and I had alot of fun making fun of how each other looks, watching bands soundcheck (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8tfUg2Tgo0M), checking Simone out (oops) and just playing at Zouk alongside you other bands. Aurigami don't say la, crazy ass band. Soul Excess don't say la, bad ass band. MadHatter don't say la, GENIUS!

Anyway, to Pat BadgerS88 (why S88 siol? reminds me of S81.. fooh getting hungry. nvm i finish this)

Glad to know you think I'm from M.I. hehe. Oh ok the gimmic in the middle of monkey wrench is a hats off to Elffie the pok-ba tennis player. Our instructions to the modern taliban and corporate click 5 dude was to keep playing until the bridge que, while me and maria sharapova do stupid things.

Haha, goodness, the only thing I can say is that we all were just too excited for the show. Elffie and I just wanted to play guitar onstage, Raj and Wan were the KC spiders of the band but nonetheless, all best friends. Most importantly, we joined this comp to see photos of us, so if you have photos you can add me @ facebook b786tou at yahoo dot com dot sg and tag photos or simply email them to said address.

Also, dear Mr Soft, will there be any videos of the bands from the finals or semis even? We are so dearly vain, please feed us. hehehe!!

Since i'm talking so much here, I'd also like to say that we have a show coming up at Esplanade the new stage, August 22nd, Friday, 730 to 930pm. Then you must visit http://www.myspace.com/sgpage

Ummm ... k that's long.. and that's what she said!!
