I'm so Excited and Happy, can't wait till tomorrow Power Jam 98 ... for I will be meeting all you Musician and dear friends again....

'Aurigami is cool'??...haha...ya maybe as human beings...we have yet to be cool musically...one way definitely is to see our locals..especially in competitions...from there we can really see how damn good locals can be...whats more cool is that no matter what we play, how old we are...we respect and appreciate each other's music...
yesterday we saw PAGE jamming at Beats....and God, they are damn tight sia!...3 piece some more!!

Cool lah but I didn't say great. 
To be close to great - not in order of importance
1) bassist has to lose his Giordano geddup. Otherwise seems to cover nicely for a 3-piece
2) singer seems alright but the vids weren't conclusive
3) guitarist has creativity and style but needs to look into tone. Why? The band sounds 'thin' because the guitarist isn't doing enough to give sufficient cover during slower parts. Perhaps it's due to their style but me thinks it's due to his tone. When it gets raunchy it fits in nicely. But when it's slow, the tone seems too heavy for the guitarist to be able to do much without making it a black sabbath song. And because he knows this, he holds back. But when holding back, there is too little to get things going - like getting busy. Think of Police. Best guitarist EVER in the whole world when it comes to filling in spaces.
Eh, but why the Soft official Website at youtube only has two videos on Powerjam2008??? Gotch Kelong? Haha, just kidding ah.

thousand apologies to the bands who played after it started getting dark, you might have lesser pics cos my flash could not take so many pics at once and would need to overheat, and some pics were pretty dark and pixelated due to the light.
everyone played really well, and grats to the finalists

To those who make it to the finals, congratulations to you, guys/girls...
To those who didn't, pls do not give up, do continue to be in the scene, practise harder and who knows, you might make it next year...
