Powerjam 2008

yeah..i no have news about what's going on this saturday too. Did the organizers contact any of you guys yet? like how many songs to do? how long for each songs? 1 cover 1 orginal? and the time and place ?

thanks for your kind praises and spot on observation on my Steinberger bass...yes its made in USA....superbly convenient.....plays well...and i dont need to use a CAPO.

softie power is rite bro Rudi - I think got many softie bands who made it all low profile ....
 
Definetely my bro..There are many Softies there. When we introduce ourself they say "Ah.hhh so you're the RudimentalDrummer"...wah me scared like hell, talk like that - ...macham like me will kenna Hatam by people there lah ?? Kekekekeke...nah they are beautiful people..


But there were also some Bands and it's members not in Soft.com.eg. Hellven & Hypnoticz(none of it's members are from Soft.) ... well I've ask them to join us here where we can all have fun together.....best of all - they become Kaki-Nan lah...Hahahahaha.

Semis Format..

Hey Bro FGL..

From your vast experience with Powerjam.. what's the format of the semis going to be? We a bit kan cheong spider cos dunno what to prepare.. I'm with the band strange lives btw...

Have you guys recieved the email from Power98 yet??

so far no emails.

previous years semis I was in 2005 had 10 semifinalist, 2007 had 12 if I'm not wrong but each year only 5 finalists.

previously we had to play 2 songs - one org & 1cover - around four minutes each song and 2 mins to set up.

Of course this year we donno how ..anyways need to kanchong spiderlah bro - just go with the flow and enjoy the whole expirience ... Thats where the fun really is in :mrgreen:

Hard not to be Kancheong lah.. heh heh.. they keep saying that we should be more Radio Friendly.. I'm just scratching my head on what that really means.. hehheh.. we are after all a rock band.. and isn't 'rock' like the new pop..
