Power supply question

Hi guys,

First time building pedal board, may i know the life span of a power supply, planning to buy a second hand modtone power plant. I'm planning on using this for a long time

hmm no definite answers to this. all electronic products has got their own shell life. probably comparable to the shell life of the power supplies used in your laptop power adaptor etc? which is probably very long lasting i guess
