its great to see so many ppl interested in singing! im obsessed with singing too but i can't sing well i had vocal lessons for 1 year at a school but i quit after that becoz i dont see any difference in my voice.

i love paramore. hayley williams' the one i looked up to alot. she inspired me alot. i sing lots of paramore songs but i couldn't keep up with her most of the time, probably becoz i didnt get the basic right and i jump right into rock genre?

anyone has any good private vocal coaches to recommend?

Do you wanna try SLS? It's arguably the fastest and most effective vocal training one can get derived from the traditional Bel Canto that opera singers use. Just google SLS and look for local instructors and give them a call to discuss.

There are a few other coaches around much cheaper than Daniel. The other coaches are good too, you don't necessarily have to go for Daniel.

totally agree. like i've said in another thread, even if daniel is setting a benchmark, alice siau is also level 2 but charges $50 for 30 mins. But the problem is she stays at yishun (which is very far for me anyway). I would much rather start with a level 1 teacher. After all, the only difference is that they've been in the SLS programme 2 years less than level 2 teachers, but does not undermine their capacity to teach.

Yea, I mailed both alice and find that their rates are affordable, but they are so far away from me!! One boonlay one yishun when I stay at simei :|

I think although alice and daniel both level two but i think daniel reach level 2 earlier,thats why. plus he was the first,so up price abit more but choose 1 or 2 both also can.SLS works for sure.
