Hey guys, evry thursday i bring my electric guitar to school...dis also meens i have to bring my Roland Cube-15...since im taking a bus to school...it would be very "lechey" for me...so i decided why not get a pocket amp...but im kinda stumped on which to get...any suggestions

get the MS4 or th ibanez one which comes with the ac adapter which you can use for your pedals. I leave my cube 15 in school. I just use my ibanez pocket amp. But i'll get my cube soon la. Or i could say i lost it which gives me a really good reason to get another cube!

MS4 over MS2, since MS4 has variable gain.
or fender mini-twin.

but for an actual pocket amp, the only one is the smokey.
cigarette box sized amps, ebenex sells them.

wow cool.
if you're on a tight budget, you could check out the Johnson mini amp on SOFT's vverrryy ooowwnn online store! :)
About 50 bucks

i would not recommend you to buy the MS2 cause i have one. If you are using the MS2 for clean sound, you will only get muddy and sometimes a slight overdriven sound from that small amp. But with distortion, it sounds quite decent.

terrok la, the guitar club in my school was shit, I left their asses~

i ant believe they call themselves *guitar club*

during the performances, the Sound guys Suck~ all u can hear is *Fuzzy Overdriven tunes* too much treb, and its realy hurting to the ears~ then they play the songs like as if damn power.. but like shit~

they just dont adjust their EQ... and like 1 doode who has a pod, LOL what a Freaking noob.. he doesnt even know what the hell those setings are for. and he just throws it on and starts playing riffs which sound terrible..

somehow the drummers there just have no feel, and their playing is so damn Stalk..

and the singerS? omg,, whiny and PURE SHIT <-- nothing better to describe

but thats just the guitar club in my old school :)

ciao~

Those mini amps are Davis are made in Korea.

dude..rather den dissing them like this..

have u tried advising them?

or at least lend them a helping hand in molding their sound?

i tink u shud..cos if not..den it'll remain that way..and it will be a case of blind leading the blind.. :D

sadly no. its quite sad actually..

but just let them then do what they like i guess... they wnna "ROCK DA HOUSE DOWN" <--- pun.. so i'll let themm, lol

hey aznjt, gotta agree with deathism here. i mean, rather that just diss and take it out on the pple that u dont think are good enough, we gotta come back to the realisation that everyone starts somewhere. i dont think anyone was born with a guitar in hand, or keyboard or drumsticks or a microphone. honestly, werent u the one posting pretty amateurish questions like which 24 fret guitar would match certain songs and the tone thing u posted abt ur strat tone and stuff. i mean, no1 dissed u abt that right? cos honestly like u said, u made mistakes playing some rhythm parts on the tracks u recorded. i dont recall anyone laughing their ass off and calling ur playing shit. rather, we are all there on a journey so if u think ure further up ahead why dont u aid the slower ones with a leg up rather than mock.

i have some 'pocket' amps but they never fail to frustrate me due to tone-related problems.

i'd rather you invest in any of these & plug computer speakers into the headphone jack (sounds much more acceptable + they last longer when powered by batteries):
