I think the viper 50 is a gd guitar for beginners because it is well built n problem free. Tuning stability is good and its really comfortable to play sitting down.
Its true that there are many other guitar makers offering better specs at that price but muz watch out if the craftsmanship and quality control of the guitar is good. I mean some issues like wrapped necks unleveled frets etc may be resolved by an experienced guitarist but not for a beginner getting his first guitar.
Having said that im also juz relatively new to guitars and i haven seen or played as many guitars as i would like to so i cant say that viper 50 is the best deal at 365 bucks but i would think that i had made the right choice getting it as my first guitar back then.
