Please help me Choose a keyboard....

My budget is around s$1000
Main usage is to practice like a piano, so the touching and keys are essential!!!
Also, i do muisc tec stuff, so it is best if it is a stage keyboard,(i don`t want fixed stand) With usb and midi~

These are the keyboard i checked:
Casio px330
yamaha P85
korg sp250

I am also looking at roland, but don`t know which is better~~~
Please Help me with the choosing!!!

Of all those I only personally tried the PX-330 which i thought was surprisingly good considering it says "Casio" on it.

I think all of those you listed seem pretty similar. You should just go to a music store and try them all out. You should never stare too hard at the technical features of a musical instrument since the "feel" and sound of the instrument is the most important of all.

The Casio PX-330 is the only one of the three that has a USB port in addition to the standard MIDI input/output ports. That means that you can hook it up to a computer for recording (for instance) without having to purchase a separate USB MIDI interface for your computer. A separate USB MIDI interface is usually pretty cheap though so this is not a big thing.

yamaha clementi is selling the MM8 at S$1000 next weekend
KX8 at S$500

But i can`t find the price for px-330 in SG
and buy the way, the usb midi cable is not cheap, i ask the sim lim squre, they have m-audio cable, it is S$85...:???:

So which did you like best in terms of key touch, piano sound and speaker output? BTW, watch the polyphony of each instrument...if it's 32, it seems a bit less IMO.

I only touched the yamaha and korg.... Both touching r similar~~
I hvn`t touch the casio yet~ casue don`t know where to touch it~

If you want to buy cheap things, don't go to Sim Lim Square
