Regarding the bands.. Triad's set was ok. (they seemed nervous?)

Spanishfly simply brought the roof down.. the music was damn tight, Dong & Simon laid down the shreds pretty hard. Ming's vocals was 'on form', cept for the occasional mic feedback probs. His stage antics were great.. working the crowd, lifting the mic stand to spin & throw. Should get him to conduct a workshop :wink:

Caracal's a pretty good band! I like their heavy punk sound. But issit me or does the band really take alot of water breaks?

Great Spy Experiment was great as usual, but it was damn funny when 'Carlos' suddenly took over the mic to sing.. the band was 1/2 laughing while playing :lol:

About the indie DJ set afterwards, I didn't stay for long cos' I was not feeling well, but I thought the playlist was pretty good. Pity bout' the crowd though, R&B is evil.
 
oh perplexed i think i saw you. i guess we were kinda nervous, it was our first gig haha. amp broke down before and during our set. but we had fun yeah!! :D i only watched spanishfly ah, missed the rest damn.
 
i only managed to catch one band, caracal, and bits of the other bands' songs. i wish id seen great spy cos i heard they were awesome.

amanda and desso were fantastic too, but it wouldve been more fun had there been more people around to appreciate the indie tunes. bloc partayyyy!
 
GSE was awesome. It was real fun when the drummer came on to sing. Loved the song that he was singing too! I thought Capt. Funkycurls was really good.

Caracal was awesome man! They really ignited the place up with their music. Really enjoyable. I loved the last song they played most.

SpanishFly was awesome. Dong and Ming was really ripping it up on their guitars, while the rhythm section was exceptionally tight. I thought the singer had great stage presence and worked the crowd really well. Wondered where'd he go when Dong was soloing tho.

Triad played truly well, really enjoyed their music. Guessing that as they were the opening band, the sound mix wasn't that tested yet, as the bass was bordering on the loud side. However, nothing to disguise the fact that Triad is really set for greater things to come.

ytd night was great.
thanks to the great people that came down and made the night so special for my bandmates and myself. the organisers that threw the whole show together. the friends that i got to make. the bands that we gt to share the stage with and everyone else.

if any one else other than perplxed has pics, pls post em up.
it'll be appreciated very much!
