Friday 29th February 2008, 9.30pm

After several well received concerts in October 2007, Aussie Power Folkstress, Lisa Fitzgibbon is returning to Singapore for another series of live concerts. Her performance at Homeclub will be preceded by an acoustic performance by Homeclub favorites and local veterans Plainsunset, who are currently in the process of recording their new album.

Armed with her acoustic guitar and an arsenal of self penned anthems, Lisa is building bridges and burning fences dispensing her powerfully original and refreshingly personal style of Power Folk to audiences around the world.

From her humble beginnings, growing up in a small Out-back town in Australia, to her current London base, Lisa's musical account on life, love and experience draws from the length and breadth of her wild journey. Lisa has graced the stage at prestigious venues such as London's Shepherds Bush Empire and has been invited to play at major festivals in the UK including WOMAD, Glastonbury Festival's Acoustic Stage and the Cambridge Folk Festival. Currently writing her fifth album to be recorded later in the year she spends most of her time on the road touring either with her UK based Power Folk Quintet or throughout Europe with her Italian and German bands.

She has shared the stage with musical legends such as Arlo Gutherie, Roger McGuinn (from the Byrds), The Blind Boys of Alabama, Chris Difford (from UK band SQUEEZE) Ani Difranco and has collaborated with many writers and producers including Rob Hirst from Midnight Oil, Rick Grossman from the Hoodoo Guru's and Tim Powles from The Church.

Lisa is Fitzgibbon is consistently building a dedicated following amongst music lovers around the world and is looking forward to her Singapore return.
