One of Singapore’s most loved and respected rock bands is back with something different! And this time, with a little help from some friends…
Collabor-8, Plainsunset’s latest release features collaborations with some friends they’ve made over the years, and the result, featuring Plainsunset’s own anthems and collaborations with performances with Singapore’s Godfather of hip-hop Sheikh Haikel, the lovely Amanda Ling, dubmasters Dubwise and more, promises to be one hell of a rock party!
Plainsunset is one of the local scene's most influential pop-punk bands., It is known for its energy, stage antics, sing-along tunes and simple lyrics which have struck a chord with many fans in Singapore and the region.
Formed in 1996, Plainsunset has four full-length albums and other compilations to its name. Plainsunset is Ronny on drums, Nizam on bass/vocals, Sham on guitars/vocals and Jonathan on guitars/ lead vocals. They have performed in countless shows big and small and their music has traveled to Malaysia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Philippines and China.
