Pickup recommendation again?

hmmm..i've found mine...so far...with a limited budget..

guitar is a pac112m, with a h-s-s config. SH-11 (custom custom) at bridge, JB at neck, and stock middle. gives the tone i want so far, but ..i'm still after a tele...so..yeah.. =)

pink, u can just go to the respective brands websites, i know for a fact that dimarzio and seymour duncan have sound clips.

for dimarzio, just select the pickup u're interested in, and click sound bytes
for seymour, same thing, all shown on the website ^^

The dimarzio website sound clips are somewhat of a joke really. With all the processing etc, it isn't a good indicator of what the pickup would perform in a more conservative set up.

The duncan sound clips are however, more accurate. Even then, its only good to compare low output pickups as the higher output ones tend to sound overly middy and boomy. The thing about hi ouput pickups is, if you have an amp with very good headroom, hi output pickups will still sound clean.

yah i have been to their respective webbie and listened to their clips before..thought you might have more interesting webbie with demo clips e

lol..the clips from dimarzio are really -.-

hmm any idea how much the super 2 going for?
