Pickup qn

Hi, I wish to ask is thr a difference with basses with one pickup n another with alot of pickups. I'm confused as sme ppl tell me single pickup are nt good. But I did research and there were great reviews on ltd basses which happen to hav only one pickup. I'm planing to get a ltd bass so I wish to Noe is thr any disadvantage or advantage of a single bass pickup.

basically the more pick ups the more tones you can get out of your bass. but if you are already satisfied with one pick up, then by all means get hehe

it doesn't allow it to have more tone. hmm cause its not even probably related.

multiefx change the sound , it may add tone and it may not. depends on the effects used in the multiefx.

however there are effects made for changing tonal qualities like EQs or preamps. One good example Aguilar tone hammer.

and single pickups doesn't mean less tone. it means less tonal options. but hell a single humbuck stingray still packs its punch
