Pickguard help?

Hey guys. So I have this Vantage strat type guitar (Model is VR-11 I believe...) and been wanting to change its pickguard for quite some time now. The thing is, my pickguard isn't quite in the shape of usual strats and I'm not sure whether it would fit it.

As you can see here, it doesn't have the usual cut-away by the bridge like most strats do.
The pickup screw slots are worn out already and the pickups tend to pop up all the time.

So..what do you guys think i should do?

P.S This is my first ever guitar that I owned and was given to me by a close friend as a gift so it kinda has some sentimental value to me and planning to do some upgrades on it in the future.

the only way to go about getting a new pickguard is to get a shop to cut a new one out for you. not cheap thats for sure.

Oh ok.... Don't they have any shops here that make custom pickguards? Best thing I can think of right now. Oh yeah, i heard grey does them? Is that true? But then again I read around here that he doesn't anymore... :(

You can try at Bras Basah 2nd or 3rd floor, right at the corner beside the main road. I forget the name, maybe "Music Connection". I have been there before asking on the pickguard for my Ibanez. Need to provide a sample for them to trace out. Dont know whether they still provide the service now.

one such shop would be guitar connection.

no other way to fill up the loose holes? I dunno maybe using epoxy or something similar? I prefer that as an alternative than getting a new pickguard.

on the other hand for new pickguards that are made from scratch, can specify your favourite material.

still, I find expensive.

Thnx for the info guys :D

Well, any idea what would the price be like? For example just a usual plastic black/white replacement

P.S (Random Question) Does black go well with the body? LOL i know. Just not really sure about it

you could take a picture of the guitar and use photoshop to edit to get a rough idea how it would look like.

I wouldnt know how much it would cost really. never done it before but I know for sure that he does it. give Kelvin a call? 96994466
