PickGuard for Ibanez AS73

Hi Guys

After a long search, I recently managed to get a beautiful Ibazez AS73 TBS from a fellow Softie

One thing I would like to do, is to fit a PickGuard, if possible.

Something like the one on the Ibanez AF75

I have some questions about mounting the PickGuard, that I hope the Softies here can help with

1) I believe the bracket for the pickguard, would require drilling of the guitar to mount. Would this affect the sound of the Guitar negatively ?

2) Where can I get this type of PickGuard ? If possible, i'd like to get an original Ibanez PickGuard.

3) Any recommendations on where I can get this done (mounting the PickGuard) ?

Alternatively, has anyone used a Sticker type PickGuard on their Electric Guitar ?

Like the ones on Acoustic Guitars ?

Are these available in Singapore ?

i think leave as it is..
imho nicer without pguards..
anyway took them off on most of my other semis..

Agreed, the AS73 does look very nice without the PickGuard...just worried about scuff marks from playing

Thanks man, actually I did see that one when I Googled "AS73 with PickGuard"

But that guy had to trim the PickGuard to fit..

Oh well..I think I'll leave my AS73 alone for now. Just enjoying it as it is

there's another transparent one that is mounted on the pickup ring..
cant recall the product site for now, it'll be a better option without the need to drill holes
