Pick-up selector

My pick up selector can only access the neck and middle positions. Whenever I tried to switch it to the bridge pick-up, the selector will "jump back" into the middle position. How do I rectify this problem?

buy a new pup selector? Its not expensive to replace. All parts pup selectors are very gd. Available at davis music.

Should be a mechanical fault rather than a electrical fault hence it may be easily remedied. Open your toggle switch cavity and see if you can bend any metal catch into place so that it will prevent the switch from "jumping back". Kinda hard to explain through words so hope you understood what I meant.
