Hi..im planning to buy an Ibanez SA260FM..n i wonder if i could change the humbucker pickup to Dimarzio PAF Joe?or to any dimarzio humbucker pickup?any recommendation for neck/brigde pickups?thankx..n does swee lee wire the pick ups 4 u?thanks..

i suggest you don't change your pickups yet , you don't even know where to get your great haha and people will rip you off . play around with different guitars and all and until you know what you want , then go for the exact specs

why would ppl rip u off?????? (??????????????????????????)

i used a tone zone on the bridge and super2 neck .
x2n on the bridge also not bad.

if u want abit "up" tone get the emgs 81 85 set.

well it depends on wat music u play la.

yea , ibanez stock pickups sucks.

If you buy from Swee Lee, they can put them in for you.

The PAF Joe is nice. I'm using it, but in a 24 fret guitar so the tone is a bit different. In a 22 fret guitar, the PAF Joe is just very nice... But it's nice as a neck pickup. Your choice of an SA260 is a SSH config, so you might want to consider a FRED (if you like a more organic tone) or a Steve's Special for something hotter. Personally, I hate Tonezones... flat.

But humbuckers when stock from Ibanez are fine. I tried a 260 before, and it's nice. Whats NOT nice are the single coils in the neck and mids. They sound too dead. The stock humbucker on the 260 isn't half bad. Honestly...

But like what Dime said, the amp is a crucial issue. But that's a different topic altogether...

BTW, good choice on the 260...
