I don't know who feels the same but ever since epi has shifted most of their production line to china, their electric guitars have always been fitted with ultra thick necks. Is it really so or is it just my hand?
havent played a chinese epi yet...
but perhaps the neck specs are getting closer to what a gibson is?
as it is now, the knob placements are more consistent and accurate compared to the MIK.
My experiences with the mid 90s epis is that their necks can vary to thin to Gibson 50s neck chunkies. I had an epi that had a neck that was like half of a 50s neck. quite thin actually.
