i was poking around at peninsula basement the other day.. and i saw many other people also hanging around.. even though it was weekday afternoon!

question,

1) how often do you go gear/accessory/window shopping?
2) where do you often go to? / which shop do you frequent?

last but not least..

3) where do you go for your meal after shopping? cuz penin and bras basahthere like nth much ah

i go there if i need strings.. other then that it's pretty boring when the gear you want isn't stocked anywhere on this island

i think i stopped window shopping; i know what i wanna get, i know where it's at, i go, i buy. done.

*Cafe @ excelsior, facing fire station
*Koomalas @ Penin Plaza basement
*Cafe @ penin hotel basement- briyani/ plain rice (next to skateboard shop, near washroom)
*Other fast food outlet @ Funan: McD/ KFC/ Pastamania

While window shopping there is admittedly an exercise in futility, I still go from time-to-time to browse the goodies and see if anything GAS-es me up! Haha! Sometimes I'll drop-in at shops whose people I know just to say Hi, and if they're not too busy, moan at the exorbitant prices of some guitars these days!

Well, there's is quite a lot to eat there actually. Aside from what subversion has listed, there's also Recipes (Treasury building) next door, Pizza Hut @ Funan, and some small eateries across the road at the Adelphi.

It's for perving! Nothing quite like oogling and handling some fine objects and if the inevitable happens, you give an instrument a new home!
