Pedals which would go well with a VOX AC30 for versatility

hahaha.. have anyone of you tried it with a DS-1? I was thinking going budget first before i look into booteeks. heh. My SD-1 certainly wont be enough.. cos this amp doesnt have a channel footswitch which means ill probably be going clean/breaking up in the 1st place.. i guess the SD-1 will sorta be like my "channel switch" to dirty.. but im not sure if itll do the job well enough.. i'll probably need another drive pedal for solos too.. another thing.. when u all say use the pedals to "PUSH" the amp into distortion etc, are u talking abt boosting the "Drive" or the "Level" knob of the pedal for example, for the SD-1?

Good to see someone else with a Pro Co Deucetone!! I absolutely love it. I've got and had heaps of boutique OD's and distortions, but I keep going back to the Deucetone. Sounds totally killer through a vintage AC30!!

Lol, there r many ac30 eras, n in some there are 6 preamp tubes if i rem correctly. The thing is the ac30cc is the one in qns, n its not v pedal frenly.

Older ac30s wld go well with a treble booster, thats how they use it i guess... Nv played 1 b4
