They are relatively light compared to flight cases.
(1) is about 3 to 3.5kg and (2) is about 4 to 4.5kg.

here's alittle bit more info:
- aluminium made
- velcro carpeted
- comes with lock and 2 keys
- a strip of velcro provided
- rubber feets
- 1 side handle

It all depends on your needs. There are enough SMALL pedal boards in Singapore and this caters for people with more pedals in their setup.

Nothing is TOO BIG or TOO SMALL when it comes to your needs.

Troublesome or not depends on your setup.

The size of your pedalboard depends on the number of pedals you are using.

Use more = Bigger board = More troublesome to carry around = User's choice.

You can't fit 10 Roseanne Barr into a Hyundai Getz and you'll only need a Vespa Scooter for a Kate Moss.

Was your comments necessary? JUST MY 2 CENTS. :D

haha... but i mean u can juz split yr pedal into 2 medium ones, so one bag for studio... and onli if there is gig u bring both.... izzit it better?? well like u say it is up to user....

well put, Edder.

big or not depends on your needs. i use a pedal case such as this, it accomodates all if not most of the pedals i use. heavy/bulky as it is, i'm happy that i get to organise my pedals neatly and bring them out to jam without the hassle of setting them up when i get to the studio.

if u're happier bringing just your tiny little DS1 to the studio, then this setup is not for you.

not entirely true.
the case can still protect the DS1.
although i wouldn't do it myself.

Not very heavy, size is not bad. The felt is kick ass. Doesn't look very strong but don't be decieved. Just get proper industrial strength velcro to stick on your pedal and soon you'll be cursing when you can't pull the pedals off the felt. It's damn strong.

Here are some teaser pics of the boards in action. I'll be getting a few more soon so you guys can see what they look like on the outside and from different angles.
