which is the best metal pedalin the market?
id like to have 60-80% of metalica , slash, iron maiden sound into it

or xjapan, luna sea, larcenciel direngrey type of tones

any pedal out there capabel of doing so?

im using emg pick ups

I suggest you invest in a high gain tube amp. It's ultimately what you want, tube distortion.

Pedals wise, you can try Sansamp GT2. It's a gain monster.

hmm actually strangely enough, if u want l'arc en c'iel or luna sea "sustaining" solo sounds, invest in a Boss CH-1 or equiv chorus pedal.

I'm playing for a L'arc cover band and my setup (Amp -> CH1 -> BD2 -> SD1 -> Guitar) and while it doesn't nail the tone, when all 3 are on together, I get a very fluid smooth lead tone which is reminiscent of the solos of Sugizo or Ken. It's the chorus that gives a bit of that "sustain" into the sound.

btw I avoid amp-dependent pedals for the fact that not every gig provides tube amps anyway. If you want something versatile for distortion pedals, you can try the Visual Sound Hyde & Jekyll that mrmisse is selling. He's a nice guy and lets you test long b4 u buy
