Pedal Questions

Hi, I'm planning to get my first pedal but I want to get it second hand, so I'm asking whether pedals need cable ? Will those people sellling second hand provide the cables?

Yea pedals need cables alright. Note that these cables needed to link pedals to pedals are much shorter in length and are called patch cables.

Usually from what I see, sellers do not provide you with cables.

Hmm... Pedals do need cables. You can get them at Davis for $2.50, Cheapo 1. Don't think people selling pedals will come together with cables, including me.

Depends la ...

like if you're buy 2 or more pedals from the same person, and you're not low-balling, some sellers might throw in a cheapo patch cable. (i would)
But only the cheap ones la ...

either that or you could try to strike a deal with the seller
:)

If your asking whether there's a specific cable for pedals then no. Its the same cable as your guitar cable.

Guitar-------------------------Pedal-------------------------Amp
(normal guitar cable) (normal guitar cable)

Man! I've been listening to Death Metal & underground music since god know when. Never listen to commercial bands for a long time.

There was once i love Black Metal very much. after a while, it got bored. Theres not much technicality in it. But Limbonic Art does make some good music though.

Well, I do listen to commercial bands RARELY. Chris Cornell does have one of the finest vocals in rock in my opinion.

So I can use the cables that Davis provided when I bought the guitar from them? The same type of cable that I used to connect my guitar to my amp?

Yes you can. So you'll need 2 cables like the 'diagram' I 'drew'. Lol.

guitar to pedal. pedal to amp.

Its the normal guitar cable, no special cables for pedals.
