hey. any pedal that allows you to bring out harmonics easier. like artificial harmonics zakk whylde does. my pickup does not pick up harmonics so easily.

Any distortion/OD pedal shd be able to do so relatively well if im not wrong.

In fact, you can just use amp distortion/OD channel haha.

I find pitch harmonics is more on technique, not so much the amount of gain, etc. It is easier, however, when used with humbuckers. I am usually able to do pitch harmonics on overdrive, but its more difficult than doing on distortion.

Both technique and gain are essential.... you cant expect to do a very audible P.H on clean, even if you max treble... =P

i find it much easier to do on single coil , but yeah technique is also important ! best is practise on a clean setting amp .

yup. been practicing. another question, any recommanded pedal for boosting lead ? was think of od-3 from boss.

An overdrive that doubles up as a booster and does both well?

I'd say Digitech's Bad Monkey. I have one and I use it to boost my HM-200 distortion for solos. The Bad Monkey actually cleans up the tone a bit and makes it more trebly and a bit fatter as well because my E.Q. on my HM-200 has a more 'scooped' tone.

Heard Boss's SD-1 is quite good as a booster as well, or the Catalinbread Hyperpak, MXR Zakk Wylde Overdrive or the Ibanez Tubescreamers.

+1 to Whitestrat and Leecs. No matter how much gain you use or whether you use analog or digital (if this makes any difference), pitch harmonics will still come out choked or muffled if your technique is wrong.
