Pedal Heads...

I'm kinda confused...My bass pedal has to kinds of head, one is a felt one, the other is a plastic one...What's the difference?

Head impacts the pitch, resonance, attack, decay, and tone - as well as contributing in a large part to the final timbre, volume, and sustain.
A felt head is pretty much better in giving these compared to a plastic 1, and it is gives a sound more versatile to suit many genres. Plastic, wee bit jazzy kindda.

Oh, ic...
Cause i saw a heavy metal drummer, Jason Bittner, using a red colored plastic beater on his bass and it sounded pretty good..

Jason Bittner is using a Vater Danmar beater heads. U cld check out either Yamaha or Ranking sports as both are authorised Vater dealers.

Don't forget to get a drumhead patch...
Plastic/wooden beaters are exceptionally harsh on your drumheads.
Play 16th notes with wooden beaters at 200bpm really hard and you'll notice soon after that you're beating air throughout.
Get the Evans AF patch.
Coupled with plastic or wooden beaters, these patches help give your kicks that extra "click" as well as protecting your drumheads, to a certain degree.
