Pearl Free Floating Snare Drums

wah shit. i called swee lee today, and they told me that they don't stock free floaters anymore because sales was bad. i asked how much a 14x6 would cost if we ordered it... and i was quoted $800.

u tried swee lee sim drive or bras basah??? if sims, and the ahpek's behind the phone, than he's an egomaniack, don't listen to him. I got quoted 900 plus for the pearl elims, i went there, they said 475... real big diffrence..

i called both.

Sims drive said they don't have any stock and the ah pek who answered the phone just brushed me off by saying they were very busy. The bras basar drive one said its close to $800.

My pearl elims are single pedals.. I think I paid $198 for them 1st hand.

Prices are usually very different cuz they get a 30% knock off from the original price when they mass order it in i guess.

Wah. Like that the one on ebay looks good...

But if that's the case, means the extra shells will be quite costly as well, since it's not part of their regular stock.
