PC recording what do i need ?

I want to do recording for guitar . How do i do that ? what do i need ? i want to jam in the pc if the software has built it drum or bass or some samples for me to jam with . Pls tell me what do i need buy or download and whats the price of all of it .

There is many recording hardware interface out there. I suggest you look at:
http://www.native-instruments.com/index.php?id=guitarline

but if you really going to play live it better you look at Guitar Rig 3 where you do not need to use a mouse to navigate the software just the Guitar Rig hardware.
