Hello everyone!
I'm Wayne, the owner of The Franz Liszt. We offer personal home piano lessons at reasonable and competitive rates for all ages, and our teachers are qualified and have years of teaching experience. But what's more important is that we are passionate. We want you to LOVE the instrument, and not just master it!
Our principal teacher & founding partner, Jay Ho, has more than 3 years of coaching and composing experience. He is currently a part time teacher at Cristofori and Changi Prison, and thus has experience in coaching students from all ages and all walks of life. He also serves occasionally in the worship ministry of a local church as a pianist, and he has also composed numerous songs for various events. He is currently pursuing a music diploma at the LaSalle College of the Arts, majoring in music composition.
Besides the classical piano syllabus, we also teach pop/leisure piano techniques, so you can learn to play your favorite pop songs by ear easily. You'll even learn to improvise them!
We strongly believe that everyone has the potential to become a talented musician, and learning to play the piano should be an enjoyable, not stressful, process. We're focusing on piano lessons for now, but have plans to expand into guitar, bass guitar and drums very soon!
