I've got a ... "No TPM or TPM got problem" error prblm on a laptop (my daughters AXIOO) upon powering up.
After that, it 's BSOD (Black Screen Of Death in this case).

A s/ware prblm but I can't even go into SAFE mode to restore.
Punching F8's / F10's dont work either upon pwering up

A check on the web for solutions gave some ideas but still no goode.
So far I've tried (in this order),
1. hitting it with my fist
2. hitting it against the table
3. remove & reinserted HDD and restarted
4. remove & reinserted both RAMs and restarted
5. power up without battery (AC adapter only)

... no workie :(

One other solution was to remove CMOS battery and then power-up but...
I couldnt find where the damned batt is located.

If theres another thing I should try, apart from sending it in, please give some ideas if you could.

thanks/Goose

actually impact to laptop is not ideal because there are moving parts in the hard disk, you will cause more harm than good cos this isn't some "Sega Megadrive cartridge" where you can just take out, give it a heavy puff, slap it abit and it works.

hah, at your own risk cos at the rate you're going, Part III - Help my hdd is not being detected in bios.

-advice from someone who once threw around hdds like they were sega cartridges and almost learned the hard way lucky he backed up his data.

:p LOLz blue!
lets hope its not a trilogy!!
