Painting on an old acoustic guitar

what kind of paint should i use?

i have a very old and lousy acoustic guitar body
and i was thinking of just painting it to make it a deco item

or anu wood paint
but u gt to scrape the first layer if there is by using sandpaper
but best is u kip it org
