Paint to be used.

currently thinking of refinishing one of my bass.
for diy what are the paint that we should use? and how do we get the 'plactic' layer over the finish?

my suggestion for you is to read up on refinishing as much as you can first before attempting.

for colours you can use anchor spray paint. they have a wide selection of choices.

for finishes, you can either use nippon or kimlac. you should be looking for clear glossy finish. don't buy matt unless that's your idea.
