hey guys , i need some advice on these 2 models .......
Basically i am just using it for leisure playing at home and i still cant decide on which model to get.
The price quoted from the store for p85 is $990 and p140 is $1350. So is it advisable to get the p140 or just stick with the p140.
Anyway if anyone know of a better price with good service pls pm me thanks. :)

if u aren't a serious player, the p85 will be good enough. theres not much difference between the 2 except sound wise and touch

I have the p85 and it works for me. In terms of piano sounds, I'm not too picky and keys feel good to me. It's a great starter digital piano in my opinion. :)

hi,
i am quite interested to see which store selling P140 in singapore now, because according to my reseach, i doubt any1 sells P140 in singapore cause yamaha(asia) has discontinue the product...(unless u are going to ship in from overseas.) *Prove me wrong people, thanks!*

if ur budget can reach 2.3~2.5k, go for P155(a better version of P140), which is GH3. or even go for clavinova 320, 330 etc.

btw timytree, cyh007 's post is at 10-04-09, which is at tat time, P140 is still selling in sg.

if u are a beginner and can't tell the difference between the p85 or the p140, juz get the p85, and when u get better, go for a better digital piano.

Try the Casio PX330.

Thanks for all the feedback.
Check on the P-155 brochure, the hammer is only GH
Yamaha Clavinova 340 GH3 is at 2.7K at their retail shop. very wonderful feeling.
