Overdrive recommendations

Hi people im looking for a high gain overdrive. ( I intend to stack OD's ) not use them as a booster..

Anything u guys can recommend me? I wanted to get the barber direct drive but now its out of stock...

Im not really looking for the TS9/Biyand OD8 sort of fat tone..

Ive considered several

- MI audio tube zone ( not the 3 knob one )
- Barber Direct Drive
- Radial Hot British
- Fulltone OCD ( cant rmb which version. The one with the blue LED )


Yup guys anything? Just let me know.
 
Try the krank maximus distortion . I'm using it now and it's not really a distortion , it's more towards overdrive
 
I PM-ed you about the OCD...

Anyways I've been on a hunt lately for something with thick mids and relatively higher gain. The Barber Small Fry does it well, so does the Subdecay Stupid Box. There is also the Hermida Audio Mosferatu, but unfortunately that can be a little hard to secure...

if you like stacking, try the timmy or the zendrive.
 
My recommendation is the Barber LTD or the LTD SILVER if t=it is still available since it is discontinued.

* Nobels ODR-1 Overdrive
* Fulltone Fulldrive II Mosfet

i have crunchbox.i'm looking for an overdrive pedal to boost my crunchy.
got any recommendations? was looking at sahasrara.

me playing posthardcore alternative rock typee.

Btw whats the diff between ocd v 3 and v 4

Also, anyone here has tried the stacking of the Xotic BB Preamp and the Xotic RC Boost?

Heard it sounds awesome. Just pricey for the two pedals..

Xotic BB preamp stacked with the RC Booster is pretty sweet, but for the price there r better and cheaper alternatives out there in the market bro.

Try the cheapo Digitech Bad Monkey. The BASS knob can retain the bass frequency of your Crunchbox. Really works great.

Used to own the RC and the BB... Together they were interesting but did not have as much gain as you would expect... Really depends on the guitar you're using... If you got humbuckers it should be fine.

V3 and V4 differences are slight. The V3 is "thicker" but the v4 is more defined and has less compression. Depends on what you want really...
 
Ohhh hmmm..

Im really tempted to get the barber DD and the RC boost..

The tubezone is nice too but pricey..

Any owners of that one here?

Don't laugh. If you're not gonna stomp on it or just be careful, it would work.

cheap, under 50 should be able to get.
