Is this the rule here??? First of all, I don't see the intent to "Advertise". The way I see it, if its something that helps broaden one's musical horizons what's wrong with that??? With all due respect, lighten up dude. There' a whole world outside that well.

I don't know if it is just me but the TS I think is a spammer. He sent me random PMs concerning GUYrence, the famous softie. Apparently he has something against him which I don't really.
And I replied him regarding his ridiculous PM and he hasn't the time to reply that so I presume he is a spammer with nothing to occupy both his time and his head.

if you click the little red triangle to report someone, you'll see that advertisement is grounds for a report, nuff said.

i think it's not a rule, it's more like an ethics of forums to not publicise other forums in their own forum.
if not, forums will be filled with pages of threads about other forum posting to promote their own forum, thus causing disruption.
i'm nt sure if this is the reason/intention behind the statement, but that's what i think it should be.

i came across the site i advertised, by sheer chance.
and yeah, it has discussions on the diff genres of music, album launches, etc.
in soft, there's a disease.
and im afraid, everyone from the management right down to the newest member of this forum has been infected.
time will pass us by soon enough and we will look back and realise that it was indeed child-like to have put so much of emphasis on gear chat rather than polishing up our respective musical skills.
