I wrote this song about a year and a half ago, so you might've heard the acoustic version on my MySpace. I re-wrote the solo a few weeks ago, though, so this version sounds a lot cooler.

I uploaded this song a few weeks back, but so far I haven't really gotten any constructive criticism or feedback, so that would be REALLY appreciated.

Mic/ Interface - Zoom H4 line-ins and built-in mic
Bass - Garageband MIDI - Fingerstyle Bass

The song seems like a vehicle for your guitar solo, everything else sounds like filler to me.
The guitar solo is self-indulgent and doesn't sound good to me, it's like "Hey look at me I can play fast", to me anyway.

Hi Blank, Try putting a 'hook' refrain or chorus. You know! something melodious and catchy. It only needs 4 lines or even less.
