Original Composition

I think you are repeating too many notes. Sound a bit melody-less.

The backing guitar sound good though. The riff is nice for making a pretty good song.

You're repeating the sweeping thingy at the end too many times you might want to change it around like maybe do a 3 string sweep then alternate around with a 5 string sweep or something. Try to explore other stuffs, like doing some scale-ly runs or tapped arpeggios.

Since you're starting out I think its better if you concentrate on something more on the melody first , like come up with a main melody that will allow one to remember it easily.

Try listening to some of Neil Zaza's stuff like "Fargo" and "This time", its got some cool melodies. If you're towards the metal side, maybe you can check out John Petrucci Paradigm Shift or Damage Control.

But my main point is that you must have some kinda melody that will allow one to remember, so that they can associate that melody with your song. Good try nonetheless, that little riff in the middle can be developed further.

Just my opinion though...

The song name is HOPE???? I think i sounds more like something else, but other than that i thought it was nice.

too much arpeggio playing. might wan to listen to more rock solos. and ur picking isn't clean at all. try adding some embellishment to ur playing.
