I want to buy a Roland electronic drum to learn drum, but is it me that Swee lee pricing are quite high? anyone ever order physically big item like drum online? I guess the shipping rate will be high.

My drum school gets their roland directly from swee lee, i would suggest you to wait for a moment if u would want to buy from swee lee as the td4s all have a signifcant upgrade on the drums, the td9k2 has the most upgrade for the $3k price with hardware, sounds great to me,
If you were to order online, the shipping would be expensive, supposingly air, it would cost you $400 usd for such a bulky package, if u were to carry in by ship, its very long, and if ur drums come in spoilt, u have to send it back to usa for repair, swee lee would not repair v-drums not bought by them :)

Thanks, I was looking at the TD4KX and I read about the KX2 with better kick and cymbal. On a side note, what do you guys think of Alesis as compare to Roland. I tried a bit of the DM10 at sinamex and the tom are not working very well. I am quite wary about the QC and quality of Alesis.

Have u tried Yamaha's? Pearl has a kit called e-pro. U can check out musiclab for the price.

The new roland td4k2 is in sweelee, the new roland td9k2 is in swee lee and for $3k, 100 drum kits, full mesh heads for tom and bass an dsnare, and full round cymbals with bell, it is the best deal man td9k2 ;D
I have tried dm10, dm 10 hi hat pedal dont react well and the bell of the ride often mistrigger, and the heads are made of plastic heads, they are damn noisy man.

Wow TD9K2 for $3K? damn my budget initially is around $1000! haha. Its is worth for the extra money compare TD4 module with TD9? In term of sound i am not concern as i got superior drummer, maschine and logic.

After trying out the almost all the brand out there, I like Roland best. to me nothing come close, decided to purchase the TD9KX2. Thanks all for your advice.
