orange amps?

not suited for heavy gain? i think the rocker series can do that. heard on other forums that it does a JCM 800 2203 almost better than the original, cleans and heavy crunch.

for me, i'd like to try the TT or rocker 30, no thunderverbs for me.

I got my Rockerverb 50 from Orange UK directly. I met the owner.
I picked it up at the Orange Booth at the Musik Messe show in Frankkfurt.
The Rockerverb 50 is all i use for all my recordings. Its loud, powerful and definately British. Its typically Radiohead, Travis, Coldplay, Pink Floyd etc. Listening to many Brit Bands made me make this choice for my studio - www.soundadvice.com.sg
I painfully learnt how to bias the amp myself and I can help you guys if you ever intend to pick up valve amps. The crush models are made in China wherelse the valve models like mine are made in England. I have full schematics as well so not a problem if you pick one up. I will be happy to help. These are really serious amps though. Its important to know how to treat them and use them. Once you get it right, next thing you know your tone will reflect your identity on stage. God bless Orange.
Also, I got my hands on a 95model valve Trace Elliot bass amp just so my tones match.
All of them I mic up with Neve Mic Pres and there you go!!!

Once again, Ill be happy to help anyone who wants to pick up a Valve Orange.
