Orange amps in SG

Hey guys,

not sure how many of you guys know. Yamaha has recently brought in some Orange amps. For those of you who always thought of trying out one maybe your could head down to plaza sing.

They dont have the high end ones. Mostly crush but i saw a full valve 30watt. I tried the valve one using a burny and i must say i was impressed. Its a good amp but for the price, maybe not.

do share your thoughts. i personally felt that the full valve amp was good with its celestion vintage 30s. Perhaps good here is an understatment but the price tag is seemingly...overpriced?

I think the price is pretty fair considering that they have to pay for shipping and all other overhead to cover.

it's not really overpriced...the prices are fine,i went there and tested it too.

it was either the AD30 or the Rocker30.

wow thats cool. maybe sooner or later they will bring in the other models. i will be sure to check it out. never gotten to try an OTT or a rocker30. i have to one of these days...

heh, first must have people to buy what they bring in, then perhaps therres chance for them to bring in more. IF not, after few years, new stock become new old stock and people will say they not doing their job to bring in more and rather order online. The cycle never end

it's this range thats at plaza sing branch right? i only saw the crush series at the tampines branch.

i saw it going at 2.1k SGD around there. Go try it out, its really sweet. although too many people tryin would mean that the amp would end up like some of the guitars in swee lee where people jus play and play until its worn out..

Above price mutliply by 0.85. Bcos 15% discount now!! Therefore 1.8plus k and 800plus for the Rocker 30 and TT respectively. Went to view at PS today.

With no efx in/out loop and only a single channel, you may get bored of the TT one day

What orange amp has an efx loop, good for HDB and small gigs use? Im looking for one to use with my multiefx, so efx loop would be nice.

thats why some people here want the AD series. The AD30TC has various channels and seems like a player. however the price may or may not appeal to people. After all, it is boutique no?
