Although he was already originally left-handed, you realise that he does get loads of unique stuff like fills from playing open-handed. Incorporate that into your playing...

I'm right-handed, and I also started off playing open-handed as a mistake, because at that point of time it seemed logical to play with the left hand when the thing you're hitting is on the left...Haha. I realised my mistake and quickly switched to cross-handed, and I cannot get back to open-handed now. Which I would really like to.

Train to be both open and cross-handed, and you'll be playing like your stuff real special.

Hahaha.. If I'm not wrong, Barker's a lefty, but he plays on a right handed kit.
