OM: playing blues lead

yup, 12 bar blues have been a lot fun as well as easy to improvise with..

if i can get the 12 bar blues right.....i can jump straight into rock n roll lead playing

but i still love the blues

Just wondering, how to get the background sounds?

Was it ur original or was it taken from other artists?

Coz i was thinking of doing some own recording as well.

for this one it was taken from other artistes. but this shall be the last time be fore i make my own rhythm or backing tracks.

basically you can get audio programmes with multitrack recording functions. for me i use adobe audition and simply mix in the artiste's background sound with my own lead playing and exported it as an mp3.

Here's an easy way to memorise your fretboard like the back of your hand! Practise the chromatic scale in different keys using the circle of forths and you will have it nailed.
