If you think that the title of the song does not go hand in hand with the sound of the melody then it's no surprise.

I composed this song for my ex gf and named it after her name. It was supposed to be presented to her on her birthday but then in the end last minute , I decided not to pass the recording to her.

Anyways hope you enjoy this song as much as I do.

1. Your piano playing skill not bad, but a bit too harsh. (Is it because you play this piece after return from YAMAHA TM? )

2. For the melody, it don't have proper structure. I also don't found the main theme. Sounds like you trying to put everything in a song. A bit like rojak. I think if you choose only few theme from it and expand the melody line longer, it would be better.

3. You put a lot of arrangement skill in this piece. As a result, Rojak! Don't too greedy. try to simplified it. Too complicated only will make the song worse.

4. As per note 2 & 3 above. I think you put too much idea in a song (a bit waste leh...since it won't make it sounds better). Try to select some theme you wanna present, put it in proper structure, then re-arrange it.

If I was you, I will split this song to become 2~3 songs liao.

Well I've been taking your comments seriously about "melody structures" and until now I don't seem to get the definition of what the term "melody structure" actually means. Perhaps any keyboard/pianist here can give me a brief definition to the term "melody structure"?

Hmmm could you elaborate on what you mean when you said ,"Try to select some theme you wanna present, put it in proper structure, then re-arrange it."

I don't quite get the "put it in proper structure and re-arrange it" part.

Thanks for the comments anyway :)

Oh btw....I recorded it about 2-3 weeks ago because like you said , keep on listening and listening to it until I was satisfied. :)
