Using the lydian notes also doesn't help...but what to do...lol

nice playing.maybe it's because i'm inexperienced in blues, but maybe i think you can turn your the mix of your guitar a little louder. cos at first i thought you were a bassist showcasing your blues walking.

good work though. very relax and chill-out kinda feel to it. :D

Dude nice playing and great tone all round.

You got some nice blues phrasing in there. :)

I think you should add a little mids and some highs to the guitar to make it stand out a little more. But honestly speaking, I loved the playing, listening to it 2nd time round now :)

Love that track and your tone doesn't sound like a metal preset at all...did you turn down the guitar volume? A few bends weren't really to pitch but other than that i think you pretty much got the blues feel already :wink:
 
SoulJah - nice cute nick! thanks for tuning in. The highs were deliberately muted cos I wanted to have that dull, muted sound like how they do it...?

BerukBlue - no, the preset's as original as it is, but I reduced the tone on the pots. I think you're referring to those 3 funny note bends at the end...they're purposefully done that way just to be cheeky - maybe I didn't achieve the effect well. thanks for checking this out.
 
Actually you might want to check out the tone of Steve Lukather, it's somewhat of a more ballsier and metal type thing going than Gary Moore's IMHO.

That would be a great tone to emulate. :)
 
Great playing as usual, love your style of playing simple and sweet, dont need fancy pancy whammy and tapping to sound. and its amazing how u make ur gt-6 sound so good, could nvr get my pod to sound as good. You prove that tone is in the fingers! dont need no boooteeeek pedals!
