OM: big bang theory

Nice voice when you reach for the highs but you lose it when you try to tone it down when you go mellow. Getting into vocal techniques should put you in a good spot for the future.

The guitar solo is alright. But the song, overall, sounds a lot like what Singapore indie bands do. Too many indie bands here tend to sound alike, both in terms of their tunes and their tone (guitar) and singing (style).

Music is sound and if it all the sounds sound alike then they do sound alike. Since you are guitar-based, from what I hear, go for a different sound. By different, I mean something that doeans't sound indie,

But before doing so, look high and low and decide on what type of genre you most feel comfortable with.

If your guitarist gets another tone that is more more towards mainstream, and yet remain with an edgy feel, you will sound a whole lot better.

Actually IMO i thought it was 2 different persons singing.. the verse and the 'high' part.. i do like the chorus part.. as for the verse line and the mellower part, maybe you could try to give a little more 'bass' to it.. IMO it'll sound nicer if in a deeper voicing and a nice tone.. haha.. think with some vocals training sure got help! lol.. singing is not an easy thing all in all... and subjective as well haha..

my 0.0000002 cent worth only.. good try anyway!.. haha..

thanks dwarfstars haha dont know why you guys assume that im the vocalist im not! im the guitarist. yeah i do feel that the highs sound much better than the lows. will feedback to my vocalist about it! make him work on the verses and the ending part.
