OFFTOPIC: Macromedia Flash Player not working... need help.

Alright, I am facing this troublesome alert message that says I need to download the latest Flash Player again and again. So I have since downloaded the latest from Macromedia website... but it still doesn't work.

Some issues I face are;

-I can't change the background in MSN windows, the alert will pop out.
-I can't view certain players in websites.
-My Firefox browser do not pop up any indication that I required a new plugin update.
-After my uninstallation process, and after installing new one, I went to Control Panel > Add/Uninstall Programs, I do not see Flash player - that means Flash player program is not in my PC.
-There wasn't any indication to alert me of a corrupted setup file from Macromedia.

These are what I encountered so far. I have uninstalled the previous version before I installed the latest player setup. I didn't know how this began, I woke up from my sleep 3 days back, and this has been like this for past 3 days. I've been trying to figure out what's wrong but apparently I failed.

Anyone can help figure this out for me?

Thanks a zillion...

seems like u've been lonely :lol:

nvm i shall provide my input.

u should just click to install. i assumer u've already done that. then u should just click whatevr popup comes up, eg. install flash/allow/enable. I assume u have also done that. Then wait for it to finish downloading n setting up, u'll hear a kissing sound or some kinda weird emote sound with the emote itself on the right of the download page. I assume u'v seen that too..no wait, but it still doesnt work. So that means..:x

Something to take note of, the flash player doesnt appear in the add/remove programs list for some so dont worry abt that. Macromedia doesnt provide corrupted files, worst case can b corrupted download. Some content in the net may require other plugins, so u cant reli blame flash.

If all else fails, download the standalone flash player. Open it up, file>open>type up the address of the content u wanna view, n voila!

Hmmm thanks ... basically I downloaded the setup file, and install it. I don't here the weird emote sound though.

Thanks, I will uninstall and install to your directions again.
