Offering drum lessons with an artistic approach aimed to help students realise their potential as both drummers and musicians.
Students can look forward to engaging lessons that will cover drum techniques, an introduction to a variety of genres such as funk and pop, and also discussions and analysis of musical concepts.
The aim is to help them not only play what they wish to play but to also deconstruct ideas and enable them to have their own interpretation of music.
Have had 6 years experience in drumming and 2 years experience playing with a band. Currently holding a Grade 5 under Trinity and a Grade 6 under ANZCA before stopping for NS.
Also taught privately for a few months and worked at My Drum School as a part time Drum educator for 6 months.
Proficient in Jazz and Latin.
Lessons can be held at students' homes if they already have a drumset. If not, lessons can be held at a jamming studio. I usually help choose a studio where the lessons can
take place but students can choose as well.
